Delete a Portal in VIDIZMO

Deleting a portal permanently removes all associated data, including media content, users, and settings. This action cannot be undone.

Prerequisites

  • You must have Portal Management permissions
  • The portal cannot be the last remaining portal in the account

Steps to Delete a Portal

  1. Click the hamburger menu icon in the top-left corner to expand the navigation panel.
  2. Click on Portals to expand the portals section.
  3. Select All Portals from the dropdown menu.

The All Portals page lists all portals associated with your account.

  1. Locate the portal you want to delete and click the Delete icon (trash icon) on the portal card.

Note: You must be a member of the portal to delete it. If you are not a member, the delete option will not be available.

A confirmation dialog appears to prevent accidental deletion.

  1. Type the exact name of the portal in the confirmation field.
  2. Click Delete to permanently remove the portal.

Warning: Once deleted, the portal and all its data, including media content, cannot be recovered. You can close the browser after clicking Delete; the deletion process will continue in the background.
